Sandgate Parish Council: Invitation to Tender for Construction Project

Sandgate Parish Council: Invitation to Tender for Construction Project

Sandgate Parish Council are looking to undertake a small project in Sandgate Park.

There used to be a toilet block there which had to be demolished some years ago leaving a damaged concrete base.  We are now seeking to reinstate that base (preserving access hatches to services) and surrounding it on three sides with a brick wall of c1100 -1500 mm with a view to making it suitable to locate portable toilets there each summer.

Local contractors are invited to tender for this work.

If you are interested please email our Deputy Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer at clerk@sandgatepc.org.uk in order to arrange a site visit.

November 2018 Food Bin

November 2018 Food Bin

Sandgate Parish Council are delighted to support the work of the Folkestone Rainbow Centre by hosting a Food Bin at Sandgate Library.

Any items that the Sandgate community collect will be received by the Rainbow Centre team at their warehouse prior to being sent out to their Distribution Centres, Foodstop and the Winter Shelter.

Help feed local people in crisis. Items we would especially appreciate this month are:

  • Tinned meat
  • Deodorant
  • Shaving foam
  • Juice
  • Tinned potatoes

Please ensure all food is well within date and unopened as we are not allowed to distribute out of date food. Thank you!
