We would like the Library to be used as much as possible. As a community resource the library is a perfect place to hold your small event. You can book the library for small public or private meetings. It is possible to set up seating around the central table or theatre style. Alternatively, an informal meeting could be held in one of the reading areas. A Councillor or the Clerk will always be in attendance throughout an event.

Charges are as follows:
Small meeting (such as coffee morning, story time hour, etc.) during Library hours – no charge.
Meetings held outside Library opening hours are charged at £35 per session/part day (am, pm or evening). Any proceeds from the hire of the Library will be used to develop facilities within the Library to further meet community requirements.

The Library is not licensed for the sale of alcohol and does not have kitchen facilities – although there is a kettle for making hot drinks and there is a hot drinks machine.
