Rainbow Centre Food Bank

Sandgate Parish Council are delighted to support the work of the Folkestone Rainbow Centre by hosting a Food Bank at Sandgate Library.

Any items that the Sandgate community collect will be received by the Rainbow Centre team at their warehouse prior to being sent out to their Distribution Centres, Foodstop and the Winter Shelter.

During the year, the stock needs of the warehouse changes due to differing factors and seasons.  For example, as the winter months approach they gear up to supply nourishing and warming food to those in desperate need. The Rainbow Centre regularly update on their current needs, and we’ll publish their most recent requests on this page.

If you are able to contribute to the Rainbow Centre Food Bank, either occasionally or regularly, a little or a lot, you will be making a direct difference to those in real need in our community. You can drop your donations to Sandgate Library during our opening hours, and they will be collected from there by the Rainbow Trust team.
